History -
The Anita Ava House for Women is named for two amazing women: Anita M. Harris and Ava M. McCrory. Both of these women dedicated their lives to serving the needs of their families and communities with love and compassion. As strong women of faith, they were role models of courage and perseverance in the face of adversity.
Vision -
The Anita Ava House is a loving, nurturing residential community where women and their children live together while transitioning through some of life's challenging circumstances. Women are embraced, empowered, and elevated to successfully overcome their challenges with dignity and self-respect while living in unity with their children and in community with other women. The impactful experiences they share and the authentic connections they form remain with them always. ( Housing is not available at this time)
